My Interview w/ ChannelAPA

A few months back I had the awesome opportunity to participate in an interview with the good people at ChannelAPA. The footage is up and once again I realized I talk too much! Most interviews they post up are roughly 5-7 minutes; mine was almost 20 as they had to cut it up into two halves.

Anyway, check it out for yourself below or over at ChannelAPA. Thank you so much to their camp for the interview and patience =) HAHA!

What I Lost and Want Back

origami birds .

6 years ago I was working as a live-in staff for a youth summer camp in DC. While there I received a small package from my best friend at the time, including a small box with an origami bird inside with a simple message – “Thinking of you” and the date. Little did I know that she had gotten into a fairly bad car accident that day and didn’t want to worry me and tell me so she just sent me the origami instead.

Unfortunately as time went on, we eventually drifted separate ways, that little box got pushed into the back of a drawer, though I always made it a point to keep it. But I guess somewhere along the lines of moving around I lost it, and when I looked for it a couple years ago and couldn’t find it, I was bummed out pretty hard.

I dont mean to get all emo on you suckas though. Just saying I wish I still had it.

Hello world!

So in an exciting turn of events, HalfKorean.com has graciously approached me about a feature interview for their site regarding myself and a-Tunes.net.

I was truly honored for the opportunity and would like to thank David and HalfKorean.com for including me in their long history of supporting and building a community for those of partial Korean heritage. For those of you who don’t know, I’m born here in the States but am of half Korean and half Chinese background. If you’d like to read more about me or a-Tunes then head on over to their site!

Thanks again to everyone for their support =).

My Favorite Summer Memory

So in my infinite laziness I decided to try something called Plinky to spruce up this blog and post random stuff. I promise I’ll update with more meaty content soon. Welcome to summer 2010 everyone.

Catching fireflies, walking barefoot on the grass, chasing the ice cream truck and being too young to have a concept of time and thinking summer break was forever.
